You're now at thebeginning of your UK tour, how are you finding it so far?

We're currently showing in Liverpool and we've had such agreat response already we're getting 4/5 star reviews and there's plenty ofapplause from the crowd too so you can tell they're enjoying it. I've even spoken to some of the audienceafter the show and they all want to see it again.

Have you played inMusicals before?

Yeah I started out in musical theatre my first job wasplaying Marius in Les Miserables and I also had a part as Fender in Hairspraywith Jerry Mitchell, the same director we've got on this show so it's nothingnew to me and although it's a heavy schedule I like it...keeps me on my toes!

You previously playedKyle Ryder in Hollyoaks, how does theatre compare to TV?

They're both very different, I love filming it's great funand you get a lot more recognition from the fans but theatre is good in therespect that you get an instant adrenaline boost because it's live. I don't know what it is but there's somethingabout playing a bad boy that appeals to me I always end up playing a similarpart (laughs).

I hear you areinvolved in the Sun Smart campaign, why did you decide to do this?

All my life I've had moles and so I regularly visit thedermatologist and constantly have to cover them up when I'm in the sun just tostay safe really. I don't think it'sworth the risk of getting skin cancer over having a tan, especially since thereare plenty of products out now which can give you the same effect and so I'mbasically trying to spread this message and raise awareness.

You're touring inManchester on the 18-29th of October. Are you looking forward to it and have you been here before?

I know I can't wait I've been Manchester loads of times it'sa great place I love big cities, infact I was here not all that long ago whenfilming the soap awards where we stayed in a great big fancy hotel, it was veryposh and from what I can remember it was a good night (laughs). I also starred in a documentary that wasfilmed here called Worried About The Boyfor the BBC.
